Here's the follow up to my last video post where I discussed "How to Not Get Fat on Vacation and Cure The Hangovers."
So how did I do and what are the takeaways for you?
Summary:
It's all about balance:
You can still enjoy yourself without gaining 5-10lbs or losing all of your workout gains.
Don't eat until your stuffed:
Have the foods you want, but don't eat like it's a Thanksgiving meal everyday or else you will lose and feel like crap.
Say 'YES' to things that will keep you active:
Sure, you will lounge, lay by the beach and all, but be intentional with daily activity. Go for walks. Jump in the ocean. Swim in the pool. Go on an excursion. Live an active lifestyle if you want to win.
Bring convenient and healthy options along:
Set yourself up to win by having easy, quick and healthy bars, shakes and vitamins available so you can continue to fuel your body with high-density nutrition, DAILY. It's vacation, but thats not an excuse to deprive your body of high quality nutrients that it needs. Respect your body. Respect your life.
It's all about what you do when you return:
Adapt healthy, strong and fit as a way of life and who you are, NOT just something you are doing to look good for a few days each year. This is the only way to lasting results and ending the yearly struggle with you body.
